Drop the dice! With Wily & Light no Rockboard, an offshoot of the Mega Man games, you play Monopoly with your favorite Mega Man characters.
Wily & Light no Rockboard was only released for the PC in Japan in 1993. Capcom developed and published it under the title Wily & Right no RockBoard: That’s Paradise (ワ イ リ ー & ラ イ ト の RockBoard ザ ッ ツ * パ ラ ダ イ ス) on January 15, 1993. The spin-off planned a Gameboy variant and an English translation of the game. Among other things, an NES version was released.
The Game
It is similar to traditional Monopoly and is a board game. The player and the computer take turns rolling the dice, placing their pieces and buying real estate. The game currency is called “Zenny”. Participants who come to their fields charge the other players rent. However, it is the case that other players can also buy shares in the field, so that they can demand a lower rent than the first owner.
On some fields you have the possibility to draw event cards. They have various effects on the fields, such as real estate prices increasing or a building being expanded. Winning conditions may vary. Either the one who has acquired the most land or houses wins, the one who earns the most zenny or whoever has developed his land the best. The game wasn’t very successful.

The pawns
You can choose from characters from the Mega Man game series. As a player, you compete against the computer or other players. Roll, Dr. Light, Dr. Wily, Dr. Cossack and Kalinka are available. Keiji Inafune, the artist of the series, created a new character especially for the board game: Reggae, so that the fans of Mega Man had a new reference figure. Many bad guys from the earlier ranks should be brought in. The team decided against it in favor of reggae.
Summary
Outside of Japan, the game did not go down well for nothing. The principle of the board game is graphically not particularly appealing and will only be of interest to Megaman hardcover fans.
